Everything we do affects our hormones, which in turn, affect everything we do.

The endocrine system is a complex and delicately balanced system with a vast number of hormones circulating in the body at any one time.  

Hormonal dysregulation can really impact a women’s daily life and can cause a range of problems such as pain,mood swings and weight gain.

Some foods we eat as well as elements of modern life can have a detrimental effect on our hormonal pathways but making changes in this area can help to manage these conditions.

Common hormonal symptoms that I see in clinic are.

o  Thyroid Conditions – hypothyroidism and hyperthyroidism

o  PMT –fatigue, mood changes, breast tenderness, cravings, irritability

o  PCOS,irregular or painful periods

o  Menopausal symptoms – flushes and sweats, weight gain, poor sleep

o  Stress/poor resistance to stress
